Post Season

Post Season Tournament Opportunities

In an effort to help families plan their summer vacations and travel plans around post-season tournament play, CRALL is providing a breakdown of estimated tournament time frames for All-Stars and other post-season tournament opportunities.

*Please note: The expectations and schedule for All-Star team participants is strict and rigorous. Families should expect to have travel and participation expenses beyond the All-Star fees. A commitment form will be required prior to being selected for an All-Star team. The following estimated dates should ensure no surprises, or confusion in expectations.

All-Star Tournaments (for players selected through a voting process by the coaches):

  • June 15th - All-Star rosters will be announced, and players can expect to start practices shortly thereafter.
  • June 18th, 6:00 pm - Required parent meeting, team pictures and uniform sizing for All-Stars (at the park).
  • July 7 - July 12 - All-Star tournament pool play
  • July 15 - July 21 - All-Star tournament finals.
  • July 26 - July 30 - State Little League tournament.
  • August 5 - August 11 - Potential Regional competition for 12 year-old All-Stars (if they win State). In the past this has been in Indianapolis, IN, but the location will likely be changed soon(CRALL will cover board-approved travel expenses for players only. Family members and friends are responsible for their own expenses, should they decide to attend.)
  • August 17 - August 27 - Potential Little League World Series for 12 year-old All-Stars (if they win State and Regional competitions). This is in Williamsport, PA. (Little League International will cover travel, lodging and food expenses for players and coaches only. Additional food or entertainment expenses are the responsibility of the player/family. Family members and friends are responsible for their own expenses, should they decide to attend.)

Majors End of Season tournaments (for all teams in Majors):
Regular season play concludes in mid-June. Every team will participate in two tournaments following regular season play - an in-house tournament, and a tournament at another park.

The in-house tournament will likely start between June 5th and June 12th, depending on the final regular season game schedule (not yet determined). The in-house tournament should last roughly 1 week.

Tournament games outside of our park should start the week of June 20th and may last up to 2 weeks, depending on each team's success. These tournaments will likely be hosted by other Leagues in our District (in the past they've been held at Coon Rapids Cardinal, Hopkins and Brooklyn Center), at their parks. Practices are at the coach's discretion.

AAA/Minors End of Season home tournaments (for all teams in AAA/Minors):
Regular season play concludes in mid-June. Every team in AAA/Minors will participate in an in-house (just teams from our park) tournament following regular season play.

This tournament could start as early as June 17th, and could last up to 2 weeks, depending on the success of the team. Practices are at the coach's discretion.

Majors, Minors and AAA Post-Season tournament opportunities (for any interested player in AAA, Minors or Majors) OPTIONAL:
There will likely be opportunities for players in AAA, Minors and Majors to play in other tournament play (for an additional fee) following the End of Season tournaments. These teams will likely be a mix of players from different regular season teams, as some players will be participating in All-Stars at the same time. They may also be organized by age rather than level. Details will be available at a later date, but we anticipate these to take place following the July 4th holiday, and could last a couple of weeks, depending on team success.

AA and A End of Season home tournaments (for all teams in AA and A):
Regular season play concludes just before the July 4th holiday. Every team in AA and A will participate in an in-house (just teams from our park) tournament following regular season play.

These tournaments will start after the July 4th holiday, and could last up to 2 weeks, depending on the success of the team. Practices are at the coach's discretion.

Rookie and T-Ball End of Season games (for all teams in Rookie and T-Ball):
Regular season play concludes just before the July 4th holiday. Every team in Rookie and T-Ball will have a final game, typically held on the Majors field (field 1), to conclude their season. Participation medals will be given at this time.
